Taylor and Catterall almost came to blows at a fiesty press conference in Edinburgh

Following the loss of his final world title against Teofimo Lopez earlier this year, Taylor is making a strong recovery. In addition, he acknowledged that he still owed Catterall something following the intense uproar surrounding his split decision victory in their first match.

“He says he’s coming to knock me out,” Taylor remarked. In his entire life, he has never knocked someone out! Hate Runs Deep is the name of the conflict, yet I don’t hate anyone. I can’t wait to bash this guy’s brains in because I just don’t like him. What a lackluster brain he is.

For me, it’s a fight at a crossroads. To win this fight and continue advancing in my career, I have a point to prove and must return to my best.

During their match in Edinburgh, the fighters had to be restrained from each other. Catterall reported, “I could see his hands shaking, we gave eye contact.” Listen, it was always going to happen and we’re not the best of friends. All of the queries, rumors, and viewpoints have been addressed, and I am sure I can put it to rest.

When the two clashed, promoter Eddie Hearn was caught in the crossfire. “These two stand each other,” he remarked. At that point, feelings come into play.

“This fight is fantastically British.”
