The South London Press reports that the Blues have made an offer for Al-Hamadi, but the Dons are thought to be worth more than £2 million.

When Al-Hamadi joined the Dons in January of last year, he agreed to a two-and-a-half year contract. He is now playing for his country at the AFC Asian Cup.

Wycombe Wanderers, the 21-year-old’s last team, is reportedly due for a sizable sell-on from a move, and this season, Leeds United, Stoke City, and Hull City are rumored to have been watching the frontman who was raised in Liverpool.

In other news, TWTD can confirm rumors that Town’s latest attempt to acquire Blackburn striker Sam Gallagher was turned down.

The Blues made several bids for the 28-year-old last week, which are thought to be little over £1 million. Rovers first seemed open to a trade before changing their minds, maybe because they were worried about finding a replacement. Gallagher is eager to take the initiative.

Rovers have the option to extend the striker’s contract after it expires in the summer, but since Gallagher is reportedly their highest-paid player, they are reportedly not eager to take on the extra year.

With loanee Dane Scarlett returning to parent club Tottenham and George Hirst out for the majority of the season following hamstring surgery, Town is hoping to add two strikers during this transfer window.
