BRAKING Bournemouth loans could be eliminated by Hibs’ Bill Foley delay.

It doesn’t seem like Hibernian will be able to sign any Bournemouth players on loan this month.

Bill Foley, the millionaire American owner of the Premier League team, has agreed to pay £6 million to acquire a minority position in the Easter Road side.

But until the governing authorities of Scottish football do their due diligence, the deal cannot be finalized.

According to the Daily Mail, there shouldn’t be any problems with the Scottish FA passing the transfer.

However, with the January window coming to an end, it may not proceed this month in time for any prospective loans between the clubs to occur.

Josh Doig, a defender for Hellas Verona, is supposedly “close” to joining Sassuolo, another Serie A team.

Prior to the agreement falling through, the Scotland under-21 international appeared to be headed for a transfer to Marseille, a team in Ligue 1.

Gianluca Di Marzio now says that the two Italian teams have reached an agreement, and his present team will receive “€6 million plus 10% of any future fee.”

Due to the fact that Hibernian academy graduate Doig is owed 27.5% of Hellas Verona’s earnings, or up to £500,000, his former team would get a hefty transfer windfall.

With 35 games for Hellas Verona, the 22-year-old has two goals and four assists.

He had earlier mentioned how much he was simply savoring his time in Italy.

“It’s amazing there,” he said. Its culture is distinct. Everything about it is new—the city, the architecture, the people—but I’m trying to embrace it as much as I can.

“Football does not have a really different style. You need to play and feel at ease on the ball because you have a lot more of it at your feet.

It’s beneficial to me and helps me develop as a player. I’ve appreciated being much more aware of the ball.”
