Observing the match, McManus maintains that, after twenty-five minutes, Hibs seemed capable of blowing Motherwell away.

But according to McManus, the fact that Hibs could only manage a 2-2 tie indicates that they are lacking either in players or formation.

“Watched the game on Hibs TV today and after 20–25 minutes, scraped a point at the death, from looking like they could blow Motherwell away,” McManus posted on X.
“There seems to be a gap in Hibs’ lineup or players at times, particularly in midfield.

McManus is also concerned about the lack of response from crosses placed inside the opponent box.

“A lot of crosses in the box, but nobody else is there.”

The Scottish Premiership’s Hibs and other clubs will now embark on their mid-season break, with play not expected to return until the end of January.
