Jazz-Heat injury report: Butler, Lowry, Jaquez Jr. Status revealed

Jazz-Heat Injury Report: Butler, Lowry, Jaquez Jr. Status Revealed - Inside the JazzIt appears that the Utah Jazz are relatively healthy going into their game on Saturday night.

The Utah Jazz are as healthy as ever going into their game against the Miami Heat on Saturday night after battling an injury bug early in their 2023–24 NBA season. Utah enters the new year with a fully healthy roster and, for one of the rare occasions this season, no names on their injury report.

Prior to the game, the injury designations of both teams were made public. On the other hand, the Heat have some question marks next to a few of their names, while the Jazz appear healthy and ready to play:

Utah Jazz:

NOT ONE

Miami Heat:

Duncan Robinson: (ankle) PROBABLE

Jimmy Butler—DAMAGING (calf)

Kyle Lowry: INQUIRUMBER (painfulness)

Jaime Jaquez Jr.: Uncertain (disease)

Josh Richardson: INCONVINCIBLE (reverse)

Caleb Martin: UNBELIEVABLE (ankle)

Dru Smith: Not in

On their road trip to Salt Lake City, the Heat might be a little banged up. Jimmy Butler, in particular, is doubtful against the Jazz due to a calf injury. Miami’s Christmas Day game against the Philadelphia 76ers, which they won 119-113, was marred by his absence.

Prior to tonight’s game, Josh Richardson, Kyle Lowry, Jamie Jaquez, and Butler are also all doubtful. Having one or more of these players out of the starting lineup would be a significant loss for Eric Spoelstra because all three of these guys—Jaquez most recently—have been crucial to Miami’s success this season.

At 3 PM MT on Saturday, the Jazz and Heat will begin their early-morning game at the Delta Center.
