One player who has been linked to a potential move to Glasgow ahead of the second half of the season is Wolverhampton Wanderers center-forward Fabio Silva. Portuguese outlet O’Jogo recently reported that Rangers and Celtic are both at the front of the race to secure his signature in January. However, there was no mention of whether it would be a loan or permanent deal for the young marksman. The January transfer window opens in one week, and Glasgow Rangers may be in the market to improve their squad. Philippe Clement has not yet had the chance to bring his own players to Ibrox; he replaced Michael Beale after the summer window.
It’s possible that Rangers will need to add players during the January transfer window.
Since Silva is an English attacking midfielder who has been a revelation for the Gers and was also suffering down south, Clement may pull off the team’s Todd Cantwell blinder in a swoop.
Rangers’ performance this season with Cantwell
The ex-England U21 international had a challenging eighteen months with the Canaries before joining Ibrox in January.

Despite his terrible performance in England, he has managed to succeed in Scotland. Throughout 24 Scottish Premiership starts between the second half of the 2022–2023 season and the first half of the current one, the 25-year-old wizard has notched up seven goals and seven assists.

Similar to Cantwell’s experience with Norwich, the rumored Gers target has failed at the Premier League level for Wolves this season, with zero goals and zero assists in eight games.
