After Cyriel Dessers, Danilo, and Kemar Roofe had a difficult start to the season, the Light Blues are anticipated to bolster their forward line, and Shankland has been the name most frequently mentioned as moving to Ibrox.

Shankland has scored 10 goals in 18 Scottish Premiership games so far this season. Rangers has been advised by BBC Sport commentator Miller to finalize a deal for the “excellent” forward because it has the potential to make all the difference in the fight for the championship.

He wrote the following on December 24 for the Daily Record: “Rangers lost out on a significant signing opportunity in the summer.” Lawrence Shankland, in my opinion, ought to have arrived at Ibrox much earlier.

Rangers

It’s worthwhile to inquire about Shanks if Philippe Clement thinks he could make the difference in a title run-in; even if it does cost around £3 million, they ought to do so. because the Rangers would make a fantastic purchase in him.

“I’ve been analyzing Lawrence a lot lately, and in my opinion, he has all the qualities you look for in a center forward. He has a great game all around. Actually, from what I can see at Aberdeen right now, both Shankland and Bojan Miovski are superior to everything that is playing for either Old Firm team.

It’s okay that Rangers have explored farther afield in the past. However, there is a man close to the M8 who will ensure that they score at least 25 goals each season.

Must be carried out

Rangers

Shankland is a forward who might be the difference maker this season, thus it makes sense that Rangers should attempt to bring him to Ibrox in January, as Scottish football commentators, journalists, and supporters have been saying for the last few months.

With the exception of Danilo’s recent injury, Dessers and Danilo have improved during the season, but the Gers still lack a player who can score more than 20 goals in a Premiership campaign.

Shankland is precisely that, and his goal totals from both the previous season and this one, along with his performances against the Old Firm clubs, demonstrate that he is more than capable of meeting the standards needed to compete at the highest levels of Scottish football.

As Miller said, it will probably be a costly trade because Hearts won’t want to let go of a player in such great form, but Rangers will find that the goal differential alone will make it more likely that Clement will win the Premiership at the end of the season.
