Danilo now updates the Rangers knee injury treatment chart with a five-word statement.

Danilo posts five-word Rangers knee injury update

Danilo, a standout for the Crocked Rangers, updated his followers on Instagram about the knee injury he suffered earlier this month.

Sadly, the Brazilian striker was unable to return to play until long after the winter break, and he may need to spend up to four months recovering from his injury.

After making a lucrative £6 million transfer from Feyenoord in the summer, Danilo’s career with the Rangers has started sporadically. In his first five Premiership games, he scored twice, but in a September victory against St Johnstone, he broke his nose badly.

He missed six games as a result of that before playing again while wearing a face mask to preserve his delicate cheekbone. However, Danilo went on to provide three goals and five assists, demonstrating why Michael Beale spent millions to get him.

With Kemar Roofe’s inconsistent ability to stay healthy and Cyriel Dessers’ early troubles, Danilo appeared to be in line for lots of starting opportunities. But his present knee injury, which he sustained at Tynecastle against Hearts, has put a halt to his otherwise respectable development.

Regretfully, Danilo needed surgery, but the Brazilian’s recuperation seems to be doing nicely.

Danilo uploaded a little video of himself carefully raising and lowering his leg many times on Instagram on Saturday. He wrote, “Day by day getting better,” as the caption for it.

Although it’s encouraging to hear that his recovery is proceeding as expected, the Rangers will be severely short of strikers as they approach a very demanding holiday schedule.

Right now, Dessers is the only primary pick up front available. Even so, the Nigerian’s recent positive play may win him a call-up to the national team for the African Cup of Nations.

For Philippe Clement, who recently stated that he intended to sign a forward during the January transfer window, it would be devastating. We will undoubtedly require it.
