‘Can only give him credit’… Charlie Mulgrew suggests 26-year-old Celtic player is so brave

Both players who deserve criticism for their style of play and those who are currently struggling with form are present at Celtic.

The players’ confidence isn’t being bolstered by Brendan Rodgers’ outspoken criticism of the team’s lack of quality in the media, in my opinion.

Despite his recent poor performance, Charlie Mulgrew feels that one player is deserving of recognition.

Speaking of the under-fire, the former Celtic defender When Greg Taylor acknowledged that he should be commended for his bravery at Celtic,

Clyde SSB was told by Mulgrew, “He’s just going through a bad spell.” I mean, having been there myself, I find it difficult to sit here and be critical.

I understand that feeling; you can’t seem to find a way out. You need to put yourself out there every time because your confidence is low.

I can only commend him for his bravery in putting himself out there and stepping out in front of the fans on a weekly basis.

“And since he’s going through a rough patch, hopefully things work out for him.”

Throughout Ange Postecoglou’s two years at the club, Taylor was an absolute rock.As Celtic won five out of six trophies, including the record-breaking eighth domestic treble, the Scotland defender was a constant.

Taylor is currently having trouble finding his form under Rodgers, which has prompted the Celtics manager to look to bolster that section of the squad.

With a run of games ahead, Celtic needs the 26-year-old to be at the top of his game to ensure that no ground is lost in the title race. Hopefully, he will begin to regain the form that made him Ange’s favorite.
