Manchester United Targets Inter Milan’s Nicolò Barella in Potential Transfer Bid

Manchester United is reportedly setting its sights on securing Inter Milan’s star midfielder Nicolò Barella. The 27-year-old has consistently delivered standout performances under manager Simone Inzaghi, becoming a key figure in Inter’s rise to dominance in both Italian and European football.

Barella’s ability to recover possession and drive his team forward has made him a sought-after player, attracting interest from top European clubs, including Manchester United. With a contract running until 2029, Inter Milan views the midfielder as integral to their squad, making it difficult to consider his departure without resistance.

According to reports from Fichajes, Manchester United is preparing a significant offer to tempt Inter Milan into a sale, valuing the Italian international at around €75 million. Additionally, United is reportedly willing to offer Barella a €10 million annual salary to bring him to Old Trafford.

Manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly a big admirer of Barella and sees him as the ideal candidate to strengthen the club’s midfield—an area that has remained problematic despite recent reinforcements. United hopes that both the lucrative offer and the allure of Premier League football will entice Barella to consider the switch.

While Inter Milan is reluctant to part with their star midfielder, the upcoming months will be critical in determining Barella’s future, especially as Manchester United’s interest grows.
