To replace Steve Cooper, Nottingham Forest
Nuno Espirito Santo has been contacted by Nottingham Forest to take over as the team’s next head coach. In the upcoming days, the Reds will consider firing Steve Cooper.
Due to four losses in their previous five games, Forest has dropped to 17th place in the Premier League. In the Premier League, the Reds are currently just five points above the relegation zone.
At the moment, Espirito Santo is unemployed. Having managed Al-Ittihad, Tottenham, and Wolves in the past, Evangelos Marinakis is currently weighing his options.
Forest now want Santo Espirito.

After Wolves easily won the second-tier title, Espirito Santo guided the team to promotion to the Premier League and assisted in keeping them there.
The Tottenham position was then given to the Portuguese manager in 2021. That turned out to be a fiasco, though, and he quit after overseeing 17 games, winning eight and drawing seven.
Forest is now thinking Cooper’s future
Last week, it was asserted that there was no imminent threat to Cooper from the Forest’s end. It would seem like Marinkis has had enough, and that anything could now happen.
It must be noted, Espirito Santo would be an odd pick. It’s a significant step down to go from Julen Lopetegui or Oliver Glasner to a manager who has been in charge of a Saudi Arabian team.
The name being mentioned at the time is Espirito Santo, yet the Romano claim has an important passage. He states that negotiations are still going on in case Forest decides to alter, which could mean Cooper will get a little more time.
