Boyd took to social media following Celtic’s 2-0 defeat at home to the Jambos
Kris Boyd rarely misses an opportunity to troll Celtic when it becomes available.
And, following the Hoops’ dismal 2-0 defeat to Hearts at Parkhead this weekend, the former Rangers striker couldn’t resist as he trolled his old rivals on social media. The Jambos deserved their victory in Glasgow thanks to goals from Lawrence Shankland and Stephen Kingsley and Boyd made his feelings clear for any punters following him on
Coming for Celts after their 2-1 win over Feyenoord in midweek the Sky Sports pundit shared a snap of him grinning with a ‘weekend football’ caption and then, a tad angrier, saying ‘midweek football’ with ‘The Hearts Song’ playing over the top.
Boyd’s troll was shared by Gers fans on social media as they now sit just five points behind in the Premiership with two games in hand.
That could take the Light Blues top of the division should they earn a decent result in this month’s derby clash at Parkhead but today Philippe Clement’s troops are in the Viaplay Cup Final looking to secure the first piece of silverware of the campaign.
