Hull City has been ruled out as a potential destination for Sheffield Wednesday manager Danny Rohl, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

Rohl worked marvels at Sheffield Wednesday, taking over a club deep in difficulties in the Championship and keeping it afloat.

He is discussing his future and the club’s direction, seeking assurances for the future.

Rohl’s accomplishments have piqued the interest of several teams, including Hull.

After losing Liam Rosenior, the Tigers are looking for a new manager, although it has been reported that Rohl will not be joining them.

The German player’s contract with the Owls has a significant compensation provision, which may cost over £5 million to acquire.

Moving for his employees would result in an additional substantial compensation payment.

Rohl has also been linked to Sunderland, who are looking to hire a new permanent manager this summer.
