Sources: West Ham could now accept Danny Ings offer after £6.5m reveal

According to Football Insider, Danny Ings’ future at West Ham is questionable. The club is open to accepting fair offers for the striker this summer.

Ings, 31, has played sporadically since joining the club from Aston Villa last year (2023).

West Ham are expected to split ways with the former England international in the off-season as they attempt to restructure their strikeforce.

He will enter the final year of his deal with the London Stadium in June.

Capology reports that Ings earns £125,000 per week, totaling £6.5 million for the 2024-25 campaign.

According to a reliable source, West Ham are looking to reduce the forward’s hefty salary.

Ings has one goal in 27 appearances in the 2023-24 season, with only seven of those coming as a starter.

He has only four goals in 49 appearances for West Ham.

On Tuesday (30 April), Football Insider reported that the London club plans to let Michail Antonio leave when his contract finishes in June.

Antonio has also struggled for goals this term, notching just seven strikes in 29 games.

The Londoners are planning a significant summer overhaul, with sources telling Football Insider (29 April) that the club are ready to make four to six signings in total.
