Derby County is reportedly interested in signing Bosun Lawal from Celtic shortly after securing promotion back to the Championship.
According to Alan Nixon, Lawal has caught the attention of Derby, Portsmouth, and QPR during his loan spell at Fleetwood Town this season. Despite Fleetwood’s struggles resulting in relegation from League One, the 20-year-old has impressed with his performances in midfield and defense.
While there are indications that Lawal may return to Celtic in the summer under Brendan Rodgers’ watchful eye, the possibility of another loan move hasn’t been ruled out. Paul Warne’s team is among three clubs said to be interested in acquiring Lawal’s services, following his notable record of 46 appearances and six goals for Fleetwood, including a brace against Wigan.
