Doctor: Given the outcome of the surgery and injury claim, the Rangers player might be sidelined for several months.

Physical therapist and sports scientist Brar, who spoke exclusively to Ibrox News about his plight, stated:

It depends on how his knee reacts to rehabilitation before he can play again, but there’s a chance he won’t this season.

“He has made the decision to resign as coach in order to devote himself full-time to rehabilitation, but there is no assurance that Davis will feel confident enough to return to play or that the knee will regain the necessary strength, mobility, or neuromuscular control.

“This sounds more like a situation where he needs to recover physically than one where surgery is necessary, and he looks like he’ll be out for several months.”

In a recent interview, Davis himself acknowledged that he wasn’t sure if he would play football again.

This season, the 38-year-old has not only not played but also temporarily assumed leadership of the first team.

He will get a worthy homage when the time comes, and the Ibrox faithful will always hold him in the highest regard, regardless of how he heals.
