Geelong has announced its team lineup ahead of their upcoming match in round four, as they prepare to travel north to face Brisbane on Saturday afternoon.
The VFL Cats have undergone six changes to their team lineup in anticipation of their clash with the Brisbane Lions at Brighton Homes Arena.
Connor O’Sullivan will make his return this weekend after an impressive AFL debut against North Melbourne last Sunday. Shannon Neale, who showcased a strong performance against the Kangaroos, also returns, providing valuable height and experience to the VFL Cats’ forward line.
Joining the lineup for this weekend are Osca Riccardi, Bailey Van De Heuvel, and talented young ruckman Ajang Kuol Mun, all of whom missed the previous clash with the Bullants. Additionally, Patrick Hughes has been included as the 23rd player for the Cats ahead of the Lions match.
In the AFL team, Toby Conway has been included for Saturday night’s game against Brisbane, while Oisin Mullin will be absent due to personal reasons. Unfortunately, Marcus Herbert is sidelined due to injury, James Willis is out due to illness, Tobyn Murray is participating in the Young Guns program, and Jamieson Ballantyne will also miss the Lions clash.
The VFL Cats will kick off against the Lions at 1:05 PM this Saturday at Brighton Homes Arena in Brisbane. Fans can catch all the action of the 2024 Smithy’s VFL and VFLW seasons via live streaming on the AFL website, AFL Live Official App, and VFL App.
