Summer Transfer Window: Tottenham Keeping Tabs on Barcelona Ace.

Given that Barcelona will likely need to sell players in order to balance its budget and that a new manager will take over at the beginning of the following season, the summer transfer window is certain to be a turning point for the team in one way or another.

Beginning with the 2024–2025 season, there will be pressure, especially if Barca has not won any trophies at all.

With eight points separating them from their enduring rivals, Real Madrid, they currently have little chance of winning La Liga and even less chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

Tottenham wants to sign a Barcelona star Raphinha
But the Catalan giants certainly appear to have turned the corner and are peaking at the ideal moment.

The club must choose who to put up for sale because no matter how the season plays out, nothing will change the current situation.

One player who persists in using flattery to trick is Raphinha, a quick winger. The Brazilian would undoubtedly be among the first names on the team sheet when he’s playing at his best, but since joining, he hasn’t performed at the highest level consistently. Given that the club could fetch a high price for him, we might see him return to England for the start of the upcoming season.

Sport reports that Saudi Arabia has made him an offer of €80 million, but Tottenham and Arsenal are still snooping about to figure out the specifics.

A player with Raphinha’s calibre and speed would revitalise Ange Postecoglou’s development in North London, and it’s hard to predict how much he could enhance what’s currently there.

Currently, it’s unclear if Spurs would be willing to spend up to €80 million.
