Done Deal: Leeds and the 17-year-old star agree on terms for a new contract

Leeds United has announced that Sam Chambers has agreed to a professional contract for the first time.

 

The Whites made the announcement in a statement that was put up on their website on Tuesday, March 19. The contract for the 17-year-old will end in the summer of 2026.

Throughout the season, the midfielder for the Scottish young international team has been an integral part of the club’s U-18 team.

Leeds United has exciting potential in the wake of the Sam Chambers revelation.
Everyone associated with the team will be happy to learn that Chambers has agreed to sign his first professional contract with Leeds.

The two-year deal will allow the midfield player to progress in the developing squads and keep improving at Thorp Arch.

Playing more games for the U-21s will be his top priority right now, but he has his sights set on being a future Elland Road star. He recently made his Premier League 2 debut.

The Whites will be happy to have ensured one of their children’s immediate futures, as it is evident that they think he is an exciting talent.

Younger players are now aware that there is a possible route to the senior squad after witnessing several academy players make an impact in Daniel Farke’s first team setup.

Other Leeds United news: following his statement to the media, the Whites are prepared to sell a midfield player for £10.3 million.
