Borna Barišić, a defender for Rangers, has a contract that ends at Ibrox at the conclusion of this season, and Philippe Clement is aware that there is a good chance he will sign a free agency contract in the summer.

We discussed various Turkish reports on March 12th that Trabzonspor had intervened to sign the 31-year-old. It was also announced that the agent of the Rangers player will go to hold negotiations with the Süper Lig team.

Ajansspor revealed a day later that the Turkish team might make an offer to oust Rangers’ left-back.

If a rumor from Fanatik is to be accepted, it appears that Trabzonspor made such offer to the Croatian international.

Following a transfer meeting with the club president, Trabzonspor manager Abdullah Avcı will work harder to close agreements for the targets they have identified.

They are concentrating on the Rangers player at left back as they begin their team restructuring for the upcoming campaign.

Fanatik claimed that Barišić had approved their proposal. They don’t go into depth about their offering, but it is said that he is “close to signing” with Trabzonspor.

In 29 games this season, Barišić has managed one goal and six assists for Philippe Clement’s team.
