The 37-year-old goalie is one of the eight senior players whose contracts expire in July; negotiations for a new agreement have not yet begun.After maintaining 14 clean sheets in 43 games the previous season, Ruddy has kept seven clean sheets in 35 Championship games this season.
When asked if the Blues and Ruddy had discussed a new contract, Ruddy replied, “Not really, no.” I believe that several players with contracts and loan players are in a similar circumstance.

Ruddy said the Blues will give it everything they have to prevent the unimaginable, even though Tony Mowbray and Mark Venus won’t be able to utilize many of those to pull them out of this situation if they are relegated to League One.
