Dujon Sterling, the Europa League hero for Rangers, will not play in the second leg of their Round of 16 match against Benfica at Ibrox. The versatile 24-year-old will miss the game for Rangers, which is a significant blow after their 2-2 draw in Lisbon last week.

Dujon Sterling’s absence is confirmed by Philippe Clement.
Philippe Clement, who gave a Rangers squad update prior to Benfica’s Europa League visit to Ibrox, at least seems to believe this.
Clement declared, “Dujon (Sterling) will not be in the selection.” “It’s not a major deal, but letting him play will put him at too much of a risk to make it worse.
“So, we’ll wait until Sunday to see if it’s feasible or not over the next few days.”

Rangers had about a dozen injury concerns going into their match against Benfica, and they haven’t really started to get better.
Although Todd Cantwell’s return is good news, losing key utility player Dujon Sterling is a serious setback.
When you include in Ross McCausland’s circumstances, Rangers find themselves with less talent than they had before the Benfica match.
