Priorities agreed by Philippe Clement and the Rangers as “growing concern” appears at Ibrox

Rangers supporters most desire the Scottish Premiership trophy this season, according to Daily Record journalist Andrew Newport.

But manager Philippe Clement won’t give up one competition for another, the journalist continued.

This season, the Belgian has already won the League Cup, and his team is also in the running for the league, Scottish Cup, and Europa League titles.

Newport stated in the Daily Record, “But at the moment, the prize the Ibrox legions desire most is Premiership gold and there remains a growing concern among the Gers support that fighting on all fronts could cost Clement’s side dear.”

“Clement, however, has dismissed the idea that he would sacrifice one competition for another, so he will keep telling his men to keep moving forward, no matter how far they still have to go.”

Can the Rangers pull off a historic quadruple?

Rangers’ season has seen a breathtaking comeback after the Ibrox team previously appeared to be hopeless under Michael Beale.

However, since taking over, Clement has performed admirably in the dugout, and the Scottish powerhouses are poised to pull off an incredible quadruple.

With two points more than their bitter rivals Celtic, the Gers are presently leading the Scottish Premiership standings. If not for their recent home error against Motherwell, that lead could have been even greater.

In the Scottish Cup, Clement has also led his team to the last four, where they will play Hearts after defeating Hibernian, an opponent from Edinburgh, in the quarterfinals.

And with a 2-2 first-leg draw with Benfica in the round of 16, there is a good probability of qualifying for the Europa League in Europe.

Benfica and Rangers will play their second leg of the Europa League semifinal at Ibrox.

It goes without saying that the Belgian has already secured success in his first season in Scotland, having won the League Cup earlier in the year.
