However, supporters of Rangers believe they already know they will face Hearts on Sunday in order to go to the May 25 championship game. Why? Actually, there are two causes. The first is that it’s unbelievable to think that Hampden hasn’t hosted a Saturday semi-final in FIFTY years.

This includes the Europa League, where they play Benfica on Thursday night in the second leg of their last-16 match after the first game ended in a 2-2 stalemate in Lisbon. Rangers’ matchup with the Jambos would have to happen on Sunday if they manage to complete the task. Rangers will play in the quarterfinals on the Thursday before the semi-final weekend, which is scheduled for April 20–21. It’s also likely that the TV picks will be revealed before to their matchup with the Portuguese powerhouses.
