If Ridley remains with Jacksonville, he would join Gabe Davis, Christian Kirk, and Evan Engram to bolster the team’s offensive options. On the other hand, if he joins New England, he would likely become the top target for either Jacoby Brissett or the Patriots’ upcoming draft pick.
The timing of Ridley’s decision will also impact the compensation for the original trade between the Falcons and Jaguars in 2022. If Ridley re-signs with the Jaguars before the official start of the 2024 league year, the Falcons will receive a second-round draft pick. Otherwise, if Ridley signs elsewhere or after the start of the league year, the Falcons will receive a third-rounder from Jacksonville.
