Confirmed: Grizzlies have again signed a great NBA player to 10-day contract

The Memphis Grizzlies today announced that they had signed guard DeJon Jarreau to a 10-day deal as a call-up from the NBA G League’s Memphis Hustle. The terms of the agreement were not released, as per team policy.

Jarreau (6-5, 185) has appeared in 24 NBA G League regular season games (18 starts) with the Hustle, averaging 17.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, 7.1 assists, and 1.3 steals in 29.7 minutes after being traded from the Capital City Go-Go on December 26. During the regular season, he had 11 double-doubles (tied for seventh in the NBA G League) and four triple-doubles (second in team history).

The 26-year-old New Orleans his after  senior year at Houston, where he was voted the 2020-21 AAC Defensive Player of the Year. He made one NBA appearance for the Indiana Pacers in 2021-22 and has played 65 NBA G League showcase and regular season games for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Texas Legends, Go-Go, and Hustle.
