Blackburn Rovers, a Championship club, are reportedly pursuing the signing of Jacob Fowler, the son of Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler. The 18-year-old, currently playing for Oxford United, is being targeted by Rovers for a potential move to Ewood Park.
According to The Sun, Jacob Fowler is an attacking midfielder who has also had a trial spell at Rangers. He has already featured in four games for Blackburn’s youth team as part of a potential long-term deal.
In a recent match, Blackburn Rovers’ Under-18s faced Liverpool’s Under-18 side, where Fowler was involved as Rovers suffered a 5-1 defeat.
