Hearts are destroyed 5-0 by Rangers, reminding BBC Sportscene pundit of a “horrible place to be.”

Richard Foster claims that Rangers took advantage of the Ibrox crowd to start their victory over Hearts quickly because the home crowd created an unfavorable atmosphere for the visitors.

Speaking from firsthand experience, the pundit described the Gers support as a “horrible place to be” on BBC Sportscene on February 24. This is especially true when the team plays well right from the start, as it did in the 5-0 victory when Mohamed Diomande opened the score in the second minute.

When host Steven Thompson drew a comparison between the supporters and Philippe Clement’s current setup and the conclusion of Michael Beale’s tragic term, Foster responded that the comparison was valid in both directions.

Thompson stated at 7:49 p.m.: “They have a lot of options now, but I think the connection between the fans and the players, the team, and the staff is really pleasing Philippe Clement, because that had completely vanished at the end of Michael Beale’s tenure and it’s back bigger than ever.”

“Yes, you win games, the fans are going to be onside,” Foster retorted. If you perform as well as you did today, the audience will support you. That seems to work both ways, though. The Rangers were able to get off to a quick start because the fans were excited about the game from the beginning and they fed off of one other.

“I was present at Ibrox when the Rangers were getting going. It’s a terrible place to be, and it’s really difficult to focus and play well, let alone to even hear your teammates.”
